Nicky Parish

Nicky grew up with wine in her blood — pruning vines at Dunnolly during university holidays before redirecting her focus to viticulture and oenology. After graduating in 2000, she spent years gaining experience in Hawke's Bay, Oregon, Canada and France, before settling in Marlborough in 2006.
"The international experience not only enriched my winemaking knowledge but also broadened my perspective on life. It's about learning, growing, and continually evolving — both personally and professionally."
In 2016 Nicky established her own consultancy while continuing as Dunnolly's hands-on winemaker. She lives in Marlborough with her husband Hayden and their son Will, though North Canterbury is never far from her heart.

Peter Parish

Born and raised in Christchurch, Peter spent thirty years in the wine and spirits trade before returning to his home province of Canterbury to fulfil a long-held dream. Starting with a bare block of land in the Waipara Valley, he built Dunnolly Estate from the ground up — viticulturist, tractor driver, sales manager and accountant all in one.

Today, Peter remains involved in the family business between his weekly games of golf.

Matt Parish

After completing his Masters in Applied Science, Matt built an extraordinary career in wine — serving as Director of Group Winemaking at Constellation Wines US, Chief Winemaker at Treasury Wine Estates Americas, and International Chief Winemaker at Naked Wines. In 2016 he launched his own wine brand and consultancy, crafting wines from around the world.
