A classic North Canterbury Pinot Noir, elegant and expressive. Aromas of dark cherry, ripe plum, and a hint of warm spice draw you in, while careful ageing in French oak barriques lends a silky texture and gently savoury complexity. The finish is long and poised — a wine that rewards a little patience in the glass.
Vintage Notes
2023 was a remarkable season. After an unsettled start, warm and dry autumn conditions were near-perfect for ripening — and this shines through in every sip. One of the great North Canterbury vintages.
Nicky's Food Match
Slow-cooked lamb shoulder with tomato, rosemary and garlic is a classic pairing. For something lighter, try roasted duck with cherry jus, or a simple board of charcuterie and aged hard cheese.
