4 STARS - Sam Kim Wine Orbit, August 2018
Full of aromas of strawberry, raspberry and sun kissed plums this wine is inviting and lively. The palate is broad with elegant ripe tannins that linger. Skilful use of new French oak encases these aromas with mocha notes and warm toasty oak.
- Single Vineyard Estate grown fruit.
- Pinot Noir clone 10/5 planted 1995, clay loam soils.
- Aged for 10 months in French Oak Barriques, 10% fermented in older barrique.
Serve at room temperature. Match with slow cooked Lamb marinated in rosemary and parsley. Bottled March 2018, this wine will be best enjoyed July 2018 - 2021.
