I hope everyone is doing well. I cannot believe it is August already! It’s a busy time for Dad & I at the moment, we are getting wines like the Pinot Gris ready for bottle. The Chardonnay & Pinot Noir that has been bottled ageing for the last 4 months in our warehouse is now ready for labelling.
I am a real foodie, absolutely love to cook and entertain. I have been off my game lately, as it is winter here in NZ, and I am also pregnant with my first child (due start of December). This has unfortunately has really reduced my motivation to cook. I have also gone off Lamb, which is my absolute favourite meat - I am a true kiwi girl.
We have guests coming over for dinner this weekend, and I’m wanting to pair something with our 2017 Pinot Noir. No wine for me at the moment - but my friends can certainly enjoy!
Yesterday, I brought some beautiful Sirloin Steak and I thought I would serve it with garlic, mustard and blistered tomatoes. Devine!
